I was not sure what to expect when I realized Trey would be the protagonist in AMONG THE BRAVE (Shadow Children #5). He has had such a small role in the series thus far, and a weak one at that. But being that Trey's character is so different then Luke's gave a fresh perspective to the plot.

I would recommend this series for all ages and gender. Very exiting books that make you not want to put them down. My kids read them some time back and I just recently decided to download them into my and read them. I wasn't disappointed.

If you have read the entire series then you would know why this series is so interesting to me.
If not, then you must know.
1In the first book you would hear of the population law. That makes people kill any child after a family's second child. Some people break this law, and hide third children and keep them away from civilization.
2I would want to know what happens to the third children.
That's why I want to read the entire series.
Good series if you like these type of books.
Well well written. The child Trey in this book became a leader, not follower. Love in his heart for once not being left, brought out the genius. Proof the lessons we learn, will come back to aid us and others.
I have gotten into this series and this is the best book so far. It is about all of the good guys Lee, Nina, and two other kids gets captured. All except Trey. Trey teams up with Lee's brother Mark to find them. Surprising ending with new characters on the good guy side revealed. This definitely will leave you hanging. Especially when the last chapter is about them standing in line to join the population police. The last chapter should really be the first chapter of the next book Among The Enemies. I give this Book 5/5 stars for a great story and lot of suspense. Hope you enjoy your copy of this great Ebook!!!
